My Scout Prayer
Dear Lord,
I thank you for keeping me in good health so that I can play tennis, swim, cycle and solve the rubik’s cube.
I also pray for the health of my parents, grannies and relatives.
I thank you God for my teachers for imparting their knowledge to me.
Lastly, I pray that my scouting journey would be fun and exciting.
Amen.
Writing a Diary
10.3.21 (Wednesday) A Scout has courage in all difficulties
-In class, when I encountered challenging math word problems, I encouraged myself not to give up and to do my best. I will ask my teachers, friends or tutor for help until I understand how to solve the questions.
11.3.21 (Thursday) A Scout is to be trusted.
-During recess, I brought a snack for $0.70. I gave $1 to the store owner. She returned $0.50 and I immediately knew she has given me extra change of $0.20. I gave her back the extra change and she was pleased.
12.3.21 (Friday) A Scout is discipline and considerate.
-When my teacher was late for her lesson, I did my silent reading, kept quiet and behaved myself.
24.3.21 (Wednesday) To do my duty for God and to the Republic of Singapore.
-I must always remind myself not to mix around with the wrong company, to honor God and my parents, to respect my elders, teachers and my friends.
