The Story of Cars

The Story of Cars described how cars were created and improved though the years. Many inventors like Karl Benz to Gottlieb Daimler changed the way cars evolved to cater to the different audiences.

The invention of cars started as early as 1400 when Italian invention Leonard Da Vinci had drew up plans of how a car look like.

It was until centuries later in 1700 when Nicholas Joseph Cugnot created a steam engine cart that moves on iron tracks. Sir Goldsworthy took Nicholas idea and improved it further by making the vehicle move on the road instead on iron track.

Moving away from stream engine, inventors tried using electric in the form of batteries but it did not work out. Finally Etienne Lenoir created an engine that was powered by petrol.

In 1886 German engineer Karl Benz designed and built the first petrol driven vehicle which consist of three wheels, one seat and a small engine at the back.

At about the same time, another German, Gottlieb Daimler tried his engine inside a carriage and developed the world’s first four-Wheeled car.

As years go by, the design of cars and technology improved tremendously. New brands like Rolls-Royce,Austin seven, Flat and Porsche came into the market.

Meanwhile, in US, the Americans were designing bigger, longer and higher fuel consumption vehicles. Their designers were very creative and came out with many attractive and unique designs to attract the potential buyers. Many people used the make used of their vehicles o race and break speed records.

In conclusion, with so many cars polluting the environment today. Engineers are racing against time to create new vehicles using renewable energy to reduce air pollution. We must also do our parts by using more public transports and purchase electric cars.
